What are Bonded Restorations?

Bonding or ‘’bonded restorations’’, are a painless way to make minor repairs to teeth. Made of composite resin, bonding uses tooth coloured materials and are placed on the tooth. The dentist then shapes it and hardens it with light.

The composite resin can be:

• Matched to your teeth
• Shaped to look like the missing part of a chipped tooth
• Used on a broken tooth to restore it’s size
• Painted over a stained tooth to make it match your other teeth
• Used to build up teeth and fill between them
